A Comprehensive Solution for Advanced Healthcare Applications TreeAge Pro Suite combines the power and functionality of TreeAge software modules, including:All of the powerful modeling, analysis and reporting capabilities of our TreeAge Pro core module The advanced healthcare functionality of the TreeAge Pro Healthcare module - including powerful Monte Carlo simulation features and healthcare-specific charts and graphs Tight integration with Excel software via TreeAge Pro Excel TreeAge Pro Suite provides new base software and many common features and interface elements to speed your research and decision making. This release is a major step forward in fulfilling the TreeAge Software commitment to a flexible and productive analytical platform. TreeAge Pro Suite builds on the strengths of the individual products and enhances their ability to work together seamlessly.TreeAge Pro Suite is an integrated package optimized for pharmaceutical companies, healthcare providers, epidemiologists and others engaged in research and analysis in life sciences.
What's new in the v2009 Core module
Multivariate Normal distribution - A new distribution type allows sampling from multiple correlated normal distributions. The correlated normal distributions are created within a single Multivariate Normal Distribution by providing a correlations / covariances via a TreeAge table. See Chapter 17.
Tree() function - A new syntax option allows a dynamically accessed/opened "target" tree to be visible, and to respond subsequently to direct calculation by the user, for debugging purposes. See Chapter 21.
Three-way sensitivity report - The three-way sensitivity analysis animated region graph now allows viewing/exporting the text report for each frame in the animation/analysis. See Chapter 15.
Insert Branch options - Additional menu options allow more control over the insertion of a node and branch, including determining the type of node to create and how to dispose of Node Comment and Clone information. See Chapter 9.
What's new in the v2009 Excel/COM module
TreeAgeProLib Object Interface - The TreeAgeProLib Object Interface has been enhanced to enable Sensitivity Analysis and to provide access to the Node Outline. See Chapter 30.
Tree Workbook - The Create Tree Workbook command includes sensitivity analysis commands in the spreadsheet interface created for the active tree. See Chapter 30.
What's new in the v2009 Healthcare module
Cost-Effectiveness Acceptability Frontier - This is a new cost-effectiveness Monte Carlo simulation graphing option. This variation on the standard Acceptability Curve shows the varying "acceptability" (probability cost-effective) of only the optimal strategy, based on Net Benefits, as the ICER threshold (e.g., willingness-to-pay/"WTP", or weight on effect) is increased. See Chapter 33.
Net Benefits vs. WTP - The Net Benefits vs. WTP cost-effectiveness Monte Carlo simulation graph has been updated to show threshold information. An option was added to convert the graph to a strategy graph display, which clearly identifies the optimal strategy for varying WTP. See Chapter 33.
Two-Way C/E Sensitivity Analysis Isocontours - If the 2-way C/E sensitivity analysis region graph is set to to calculate Costs and Effects separately (via Cancel button in Net Benefits dialog) and there are only two strategies, the isocontour lines showing ICER thresholds (including negative ICERs) are drawn with high precision using temporary Net Monetary Benefits calculations. See Chapter 32.
